WRCC are taking part in the Forth Valley Indoor Sixes Tournament, and after a false start due to a power failure during their match against St Modans, a mixture of youth and experience combined to defeat Stenhousemuir last Friday.

This Sunday will see an epic battle 102 years in the making, as the gladiators of Westquarter & Redding throw old friendships and allegiances aside to face off in what has been described as "World War 3, but cricket, in Falkirk".  The line in the mud has been drawn, on one side is the Westquarter Wildcats, led by Adam Jeremiah, and on the other is Hamad Mumtaz' Redding Panthers.

The season may be over, but we still have two events to look forward to. First up is the inter-club match on  Sunday September 12th, where captain Hamad Mumtaz will lead his side against Adam Jeremiah's Vice-captain's select. Following this is the Annual Awards Evening on Saturday the 18th at Fuscos.

Two early wickets from Stuart Fox, half centuries from Hamad Mumtaz and Abdul Baqi, and some timely hitting from Adam Jeremiah, led Westquarter to their first ever Presidents Trophy after successfully chasing down a daunting 194 against Dunfermline's Kismet C.C at Boghall, West Lothian.
