Family Day 2016, Saturday 3rd September

To celebrate the end of the season the club is running a Family day for all those linked to the club, including Westies, seniors, their friends and families and Falkirk Company of Archers.

This is a chance for everyone at Bailliefields to come together and celebrate their achievements during the season.

This date also coincides with the one year anniversary of the nursery opening and members of staff at Glenbervie will also be joining in the fun.

The cost of the day is £5 per adult and £2 per child under 16 but Westies are free if they wear their shirt for presentation photos! The price includes a burger, drink and a free ice cream from the Ice Cream van!!

The plans for the day include:

  • Presentation of Westies certificates
  • Senior Presentation
  • Free 'Try Archery' session
  • Free 'Try Cricket' session
  • Parent v Westies Challenge
  • Free face painting
  • Free Bouncy Castle (for kids & adults!!)
  • 6 a side competition final & presentation

We hope you can join us on Saturday 3rd September from 11am to 3pm to make this a fun Family day to remember!

Thank you for your continued support of the club and we hope to see you at the Family Day for what promises to be a fun packed day.

A big thank you to the four teams that turned out for round 1 of the inaugural WRCC Super Sixes.

A switch to indoors provided the teams with a gentle introduction to cricket (not as much running to chase the ball!). Only 1 team gave themselves a name so I named the others, you only have yourselves to blame!!

Adham Aslam and Hasan Rashid will be attending the Cricket Scotland CoolCricket workshops this Sunday (29th May).

They will be finding out how to use social media and engage with the younger generation to help grow the club.

The club is mentioned in the latest newsletter of Sports Marketing Network who we are working with through Sportscotland's Direct Club Investment programme.

No before pictures but everything looks a lot tidier after the CricketForce day!
Thank you again to those people who gave up their time last Saturday.
