No before pictures but everything looks a lot tidier after the CricketForce day!
Thank you again to those people who gave up their time last Saturday.

As part of Cricket Scotland's 'Making it Happen at Your Cricket Club' workshops, in conjunction with Svend Elkjaer from Sports Marketing Network, two new roles for clubs were announced, Social Media Champion and Young Club Ambassador.


The `Making it Happen at your Cricket Club` Workshops are a continuation of the excellent `Thriving Clubs` Programme being delivered with SMN. These workshops are extremely enlightening, interactive and provide your club with practical advice and ideas to become a `Thriving Cricket Club`. This year’s programme and workshop will include some exciting developments, including:


· Launch of our `Social Media Champions` Support – social media champion to receive training and support from SMN and Cricket Scotland Communications Manager Ben Fox

· Young Club Ambassadors – Clubs supported in appointing Young Club Ambassadors for their local schools and youth groups to champion your club and the sport


The club are delighted to announce the appointment of Adham Aslam as Social Media Champion and Hasan Rashid as Young Club Ambassador.



The 2016 league fixtures are now on the website.


Dates for outdoor training are also there along with dates the ground will be used by Falkirk Company of Archers.

The clubs AGM will take place on Sunday 31st January 13:30 at Bailliefields.


Please try and attend as there is a lot of work planned on the ground and practice areas this year to improve facilities.

The Falkirk Herald came to visit the club in early September to do a feature on the successfull completion of the Nursery build.


On the back of the club's award from Cricket Scotland club Secretary Stephen Sutton and his wife Helen (treasurer) were joined by their daughter Lucy to tell the story.
